Mitchell Elementary is an outstanding elementary school located in northeast Albuquerque. The students are achieving some wonderful results, and the teachers and staff are striving to be the best elementary school in the Albuquerque Public School (APS) system. Even with all of this, it takes the parents to be actively involved in the affairs of their school. This is where Mitchell PTO comes in. Mitchell PTO works diligently with the teachers and staff to bring other programs and activities to the school, including field trips, after school clubs, family fun nights, fall festival, year book, and so much more. This website is another program of the PTO and we hope it will serve as a useful tool for sharing information with the parents of our students at Mitchell.

This is my 5th year to be part of the Mitchell PTO. The people I get to work with are so much fun and hard working. I do this because I want to be involved in my children’s day and know more about what they do and about their teachers and friends. I value the work of the staff at Mitchell. They are some of the best people and you should be proud that your children get to learn from these amazing people.
I have 3 children and will be around Mitchell 3 more years. This is my second year as president and I want you to know that if you ever need anything you can feel free to contact me. I look forward to getting to know you and your family better.
