About Us

Mitchell Elementary is a highly productive elementary school within the Albuquerque Public School (APS) system located at 10121 Comanche Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.  Staffed with outstanding teachers and administrative personnel, the school continues to strive to be the best elementary school in the APS system.  For the 2007-2008 school year, the school passed the Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) report.

To remain an outstanding elementary school, it takes the parents to be actively involved in the affairs of the school.  This is where Mitchell PTO comes in.  Working diligently with the teachers and staff of the school, Mitchell PTO is here to help with school activities and programs that do not fall within the general school budget.  Some of these activities include field trips, after school clubs, family fun nights, fall festival, year book, and so much more.  This website is another program of the PTO and we hope it will serve as a useful tool for sharing information with the parents of our students at Mitchell.
