We are a group of dedicated
parents who are interested
in doing what we can to help
create an amazing school
for our children.
If you have a boy in first grade through fifth grade at Mitchell that enjoys being a part of an active group of boys - then Cub Scouting is for him. It is also for the family, too. Cub Scout Pack 386 is our Pack at Mitchell - come join the fun! At Cub Scout den meetings, the kids do lots of fun things-crafts, games, sports, songs, stories, and puzzles, to name a few. Much of the fun happens right in the den and pack.
The dens usually meet the first two Thursdays of each month and the pack
meets the third Thursday of each month. Most of these meetings are held at
7:00 in the cafeteria. At these meetings, Cub Scouts do different things for
fun and learning.
We also go to events like the annual blue and gold banquet, Scout night at
the Isotopes game, and other activities such as the pinewood derby. We go on
field trips. We go camping and have other kinds of outdoor adventures. We
take part in community events. Cub Scouts do all sorts of exciting stuff!
Whatever it is that your child enjoys, you'll have a chance to do it in Cub
Scouting.
If all of this sounds fun for your child, come by one of our meetings (first
two Thursdays of each month) or send an e-mail to
zeters@comcast.com and we'll get you all the
information you need!
