2006-2007 Mitchell PTO Committees

We are always in need of new committee members.  If you are interested in helping us out with one of the committees below, please go to the Contact Us page and send us a note.

• Family Fun Nights

This year we are having 4 family fun nights which cost nothing for the families attending. The PTO will be paying for these nights and it is a time to get together and just have a really good time! This committee is in charge of the planning of these events.
 
• Fall Festival
  The Fall Festival is an annual community event. It is a very large endeavor and needs quite a few volunteers. This committee is in charge of the planning and successful running of this event.
   
• Volunteers
  This committee is in charge of calling all new volunteer sign ups and making them feel a warm welcome with the PTO.
   
• Yearbook
  The yearbook committee is in charge of the planning, layout, and collection of the yearbook.
   
• Original Artworks
  This committee oversees the Original Works fundraiser in the fall – making sure that it runs smoothly.
   
• Cookie Dough
  This is the spring fundraiser. This committee oversees this fundraiser and makes sure it runs smoothly as well.
   
• Instructional Council
  This is a very small group of parent who sit in on the IC meetings, usually held twice a month.
   
• After School Clubs
  This committee is responsible for the after school clubs that are not funded by the Middle School Initiative Act. Making sure the clubs have all that they need to continue running smoothly.
   
• Clothing Bank
  The clothing bank committee is responsible for running a clothing drive once a year and taking the lost and found items twice a year to the Clothing Bank.
